Board of Directors

Lydonia Technologies is fortunate to have a world-class board of directors with unmatched industry experience and understanding of our market.

Garrick Ahn co-founded Caltius Equity in 1999. He leverages his financial and operational consulting experiences to assist lower middle-market companies with the design, financing, and execution of strategic growth plans. Garrick is involved in developing the firm’s investment strategy as a member of the investment committee, and in the sourcing, execution, and management of investments.

Previously, Garrick held positions in private equity at Bastion capital, management consulting at McKinsey & Company and investment banking at Morgan Stanley & Co. He received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and his M.S and B.S . in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.

Jeff Conway is a financial services leader, board director, and business advisor with a long tenure and legacy at State Street Corporation and, most recently, HSBC Group for driving strategic growth and organizational transformations. Recognized for his ability to transform the organization’s most critical business issues through the coupling of strategy and outstanding execution, Jeff has enjoyed success in creating groundbreaking client experience transformations and digital technology change worldwide. Over his career, he has coached and mentored numbers of senior executives and CEO’s, not only at State Street and HSBC, but also through a broad range of board directorships and advisory roles.

Jeff is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Lydonia Technologies, a process automation specialist helping customers harness the power of intelligent automaton. He’s also a member of the Advisory Board of HYPR, a cybersecurity firm providing passwordless authentication. Previously, Jeff was the Non-Executive Chairman at Universal Investment Group, a European based investment company, and served on the Board of Directors for Mercatus, a software provider of private market investment solutions, as well as the Advisor Board of Quantexa, a contextual decisioning technology.

In addition to his Board work, Jeff is a Senior Advisor within Boston Consulting Group’s Financial Institutions Practice, providing advice and coaching to BCG’s clients on business strategy and transformative, effective execution, innovation, and the building of capabilities. Jeff also provides business and technology advisory support to a number of private equity firms and various staged FinTech companies.

Jeff was a member of State Street’s Management Committee, the company’s most senior strategy and policy-making team. He had a wide range of global leadership roles including leading businesses in both Europe and Asia Pacific. He was Chief Executive Officer of State Street in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), with regional responsibility for all business units and corporate functions. At HSBC, Jeff was the Global Chief Operating Officer for the Investment and Commercial Banks in support of $20B annual revenues with oversight of over 25,000 employees globally and a technology spend of $5 billion per annum. He was a member of the executive and operating committees for Global Banking and the Commercial Bank.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.

Paul T. Dacier is General Counsel at Indigo, bringing deep legal experience from his previous post as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at EMC Corporation, a world-renowned leader in cloud computing and software solutions. 

At EMC, Paul was responsible for the worldwide legal affairs of EMC and its subsidiaries and oversaw the company’s internal audit, real estate, and facilities organizations. He also oversaw EMC’s sustainability and government affairs departments. Paul spent 26 years at EMC, from 1990 to 2016.

In 2013 and 2014, Paul was President of the Boston Bar Association, which has more than 10,000 members. He is also a trustee of the Social Law Library, one of the largest legal research institutions in the United States.

In 2015, Paul was appointed chairman of the Massachusetts Judicial Nominating Commission by Governor Charles D. Baker, Jr.  This twenty-one person commission advises the Governor on candidates for judicial office in Massachusetts. In 2016, he was named co-chairman of the Supreme Judicial Court Nominating Commission by Governor Baker.

Paul is vice chairman of the board of directors of AERCAP Holdings N.V., the world’s leading commercial aircraft leasing company, located in Dublin, Ireland. He is also a past President of the Knox Trail Council, Boy Scouts of America.

Paul received a bachelor’s degree in History from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is also a graduate of Marquette University Law School. In 2015, the law school named him Alumnus of the Year. Paul and his wife, Kim, live in Sherborn, MA. 

Tom Roloff has spent over 25 years in the technology industry, the last 17 with Dell Technologies and its predecessor company EMC Corporation. 

Prior to the acquisition of EMC by Dell, Tom Roloff built and led the Global IT Consulting business of EMC. With approval of EMC’s Board of Directors, Tom Roloff started this business, acquired 8 stand-alone consultancies over a period of 5 years, and integrating them into a 3,000+ person Division of Dell’s Services business. 

After the merger of Dell and EMC, Tom Roloff was asked to build a new IT Transformation capability and align it with the combined company’s Global Accounts program.  He served as the Sr. Vice President and Global leader of this Global Transformation Office growing it to over $5.2 billion in revenue before retiring from Dell in 2022.

Prior to Dell, Tom Roloff held various IT strategy and consulting leadership roles at Perot Systems, CSC Corporation and Index Partners. He began his professional career as an engineer at General Electric corporation. 

Tom Roloff has an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Business, a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College.

He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of the National Brain Tumor Society and is a member of Board of Directors of the Brain Tumor Investment Fund – an impact focused venture fund.  He is also a member of the Board of the Squam Lakes Association, an environmental protection association based in New Hampshire, and an Advisor to the Board of OnCorps corporation, an AI/ML enabled decision processing company.

Joe Tucci is the Chairman and Co-Founder of Bridge Growth Partners. He also serves as a Director of Motorola, Paychex, and Syniti.

Prior to founding BGP, Mr. Tucci was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of EMC, serving in such capacity until September 2016 when Dell acquired EMC for $63 billion, the largest technology transaction to date.

As Chairman and CEO of EMC, Mr. Tucci transformed EMC into a federation of businesses that grew to include EMC, VMware, Pivotal Software, RSA Security, VCE, Virtustream, among others. EMC’s revenues grew from $5.4 billion in 2002 to $24.7 billion in 2015. In 2015 EMC was named one of the world’s top 10 multinational workplaces (out of 700 multinational global companies surveyed) by the Great Place to Work Institute.

Mr. Tucci is also a member of the Board of Overseers of Columbia Business School, a member of the Board of Trustees of Northeastern University, an overseer of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and a member of the Board of Directors of the National Academy Foundation.

Jim co-founded Caltius Capital Management in 1997. As President and CEO, Jim is involved in all aspects of fund management, fundraising and deal origination for Caltius Equity Partners and Caltius Structured Capital. His wide-ranging experience spans private debt and equity investing, sales, and trading of public debt securities, portfolio management and accounting.

Prior to founding Caltius, Jim was President of U.S. Bancorp Libra and its predecessor, Libra Investments, and investment banking firm focused on the sale, trading, and placement of debt securities. Jim began his career as a certified Public Accountant at KPMG. He received his B.S. in Accounting from Northern Arizona University.

Bill Walsh is the Senior Vice President of Business Operations, CFO Global Sales for Dell Technologies, where he is responsible for all financial and operational aspects supporting global sales encompassing 30,000 sales professionals across 174 countries. His scope of responsibilities included GTM strategy & compensation, sales and revenue operations, business operations, sales enablement, and controllership globally. 

With over 40 years of experience in the tech industry, Bill has a proven track record of driving business performance and growth, optimizing operational efficiency and spearheading transformative initiatives.

In his most recent role at Dell,  Bill was responsible for leading and driving the successful GTM transformations and integration required as part of the merger of Dell Technologies and EMC Corporation which was the largest ever technology merger. As part of this initiative, Bill and his team drove multi-year sustainable productivity improvements through a revamped GTM approach and  effective efficiency programs that were focused on business process transformations. 

Bill also serves on a number of Private, Industry and Non Profit Boards.
